YouTube Playlist
Turn a playlist you keep rewatching into a knowledge graph you can find things in.
Import it, swap the sample for your own videos and keep the moments worth going back to.
How to extend it
-
Make your own copy
Click Download JSON at the bottom of this page. On the MindShare home screen, drop the file into Upload the file, then click Save and keep the address it opens. Open graph only shows our copy.
-
Read Start here
Click the star. It says what each type is for and which fields need a value.
-
Turn the sample video into yours
Click Wet-on-Wet Washes for Beginners and edit its name, description and fields. Paste the YouTube address into its picture gallery too, and the video plays in the detail panel.
-
Add your next video
Ctrl/Cmd-click the empty canvas, enter a unique ID (it can't be changed later), a name and the type Video. Fill in its fields: every date and number needs a value.
-
Link it
Ctrl/Cmd-click the playlist, then the new video, and name the link, for example is in. Set Direction 0.
-
Keep the moments worth rewatching
Add a Moment: the time as shown (12:34), the same time in seconds (754) and the video address ending in &t=754s. Link it to its video, its speaker and its topic.
-
Or let your AI assistant fill it in
Give the JSON file and your list of video links or your notes to the AI assistant you already use. Ask it to add your items in the same format as the samples, then import the result on the home screen.
-
Delete the samples and save
Once each type has one of your own nodes, delete the watercolour samples. A type no node uses is dropped when you save. Click Save after every change.
