Academic Reading List
Turn the papers behind your next chapter into a literature review you can see.
Import it, swap the sample for your own papers and keep a note on each.
How to extend it
-
Make your own copy
Click Download JSON at the bottom of this page. On the MindShare home screen, drop the file into Upload the file, then click Save and keep the address it opens. Open graph only shows our copy.
-
Read Start here
Click the star. It says what each type is for and which fields need a value.
-
Name your reading list
Click Cooling Cities with Trees and change it to your list and the question it serves.
-
Add your next paper
Ctrl/Cmd-click the empty canvas, enter a unique ID (it can't be changed later), a name and the type Paper. Fill in its fields: every date and number needs a value.
-
Add your note on it
Add a Reading entry with its Status (To read, Reading or Read), Priority and key finding. Link it to the list and to the paper.
-
Link authors, venues and citations
Link each paper to its author, journal and topic, and to the papers it cites. Write the DOI without https://doi.org/.
-
Or let your AI assistant fill it in
Give the JSON file and your reference list or BibTeX file to the AI assistant you already use. Ask it to add your items in the same format as the samples, then import the result on the home screen.
-
Delete the samples and save
Once each type has one of your own nodes, delete the sample paper and its neighbours. A type no node uses is dropped when you save. Click Save after every change.
